Case Study

Mrs McCormack wanted a spare room with en-suite shower adding to her home in the Vale of Belvoir.
We were chosen from a number of competitive quotes due to our combination of value for money and top quality products and workmanship.

Having submitted the necessary paperwork to the local authority, work stared on site.

The first job is to break through the concrete at the front of the garage to install a lintel to support the front brickwork.

Excavation continued, in this case to the rear of the garage to take the underground drainage pipes for the proposed shower.

Drainage pipes are installed and a double-skin insulated wall is built to separate the new room from the remaining garage.

The double-skin wall has been built at the front, note the matching bricks, toothed into the sides to blend in with the existing house.

Now it is time for the window.

The necessary insulation is installed and a first fix electrics carried out, prior to the walls being plastered and floor screeded.

What a difference, the finishing off makes.

Wall plastered and painted and electrics installed.

From inside or out the finished project looks great.
